DEVELOPMENT OF AN ANTIOXIDANT LIQUID FOOD SUPPLEMENT CONTAINING MICRO PARTICLE QUERCETIN
DEVELOPMENT OF AN ANTIOXIDANT LIQUID FOOD SUPPLEMENT CONTAINING MICRO PARTICLE QUERCETIN
TÜBİTAK-TEYDEB 1505 UNIVERSITY-INDUSTRY COLLABORATION SUPPORT PROGRAM, 2025 -2027. The aim of this project is to produce quercetin-iron (III) chloride complex microparticles based on natural products and offering a more stable profile in order to improve the properties of quercetin that limit its bioavailability, and to create a commercial liquid food supplement product formulation containing these microparticles.
DEVELOPMENT OF A PATENTED ANTIOXIDANT CREAM CONTAINING MICROPARTICLE QUERCETIN
DEVELOPMENT OF A PATENTED ANTIOXIDANT CREAM CONTAINING MICROPARTICLE QUERCETIN
TÜBİTAK-TEYDEB 1505 UNIVERSITY-INDUSTRY COLLABORATION SUPPORT PROGRAM, 2023 -2025. The aim of this project is to develop a microcarrier using titanium dioxide (TiO2) and PEG to enable the use of quercetin in various semi-solid pharmaceutical formulations.
DEVELOPMENT OF A COMMERCIAL PRODUCT TO PREVENT AND AMELIORATE OXIDATIVE DAMAGE IN LIVING CELLS
DEVELOPMENT OF A COMMERCIAL PRODUCT TO PREVENT AND AMELIORATE OXIDATIVE DAMAGE IN LIVING CELLS
TÜBİTAK -TEYDEB 1702 PATENT SUPPORT PROGRAM 2022–2027. The aim is to develop a product with the technology transfer and R&D studies required for a semi-solid product that prevents oxidative damage caused by burning and injury to the skin.
RESEARCH and DEVELOPMENT OF NANOPARTICLE and PHOTODYNAMIC THERAPY BASED THERANOSTIC APPLICATIONS IN CANCER
RESEARCH and DEVELOPMENT OF NANOPARTICLE and PHOTODYNAMIC THERAPY BASED THERANOSTIC APPLICATIONS IN CANCER
ERA-NET -TÜBİTAK 1509 (2016-2019). Theranostic is a novel approach, combining imagistic diagnosis and therapy for personalized medicine.
DOKUMAR, with its confidence on broad multidisciplinary teamwork, takes part in an international multidisciplinary consortium for developing advanced theranostic approaches in cancer combining photodynamic therapy and nanoparticles.
The international consortium that DOKUMAR participates, is composed of 3 universities, 2 research institutes and 2 SMEs from Portugal, Spain, Turkey and Romania and is funded by EU.
With this project;
- New theranostic nanosystems have been designed,
- Engineering solutions for stabilization of nanoparticles has been implemented. (For coating of bio-compatible polymers)
When the project is completed,
- Diagnosis and therapy of cancer will be applicable as a one-step procedure,
- Roles of drugs and anti-oxidant response in nanosystem-based photodynamic therapy will be comprehended,
- Development of novel theranostic agent-based drugs for cancer treatment and underlying mechanisms for these novel drugs will be accomplished,
- Commercialized nanosystems will bring economic advantage to our country,
- Know-how and technology transfer on nanosystems will be maintained.
